VISUAL STORYTELLING
How does Mark communicate ideas visually?
Visual storytelling begins long before the first image is created.
Whether working with conceptual artwork, layered imagery, or digital illustration, I'm less interested in simply creating pictures than creating experiences that invite curiosity, interpretation, and discovery. Every composition begins with an idea and evolves through layers of color, texture, symbolism, and atmosphere, allowing unexpected relationships to emerge along the way.
This same creative approach can be found throughout my work—from photography and album artwork to learning experiences and visual communication. At its heart, visual storytelling isn't simply about creating images; it's about creating moments of discovery that encourage us to see familiar ideas in new and meaningful ways.
